Henniges spreads flu message to students

Nurse Amy Henniges, director of Counseling and Health, issued a reminder to returning UW-Green Bay students about the value of receiving vaccination against the flu virus. She noted that while her center has already distributed its seasonal supply, students can still obtain shots through primary care providers, public health offices or major pharmacies. Anyone with symptoms such as cough, high fever, sore throat, severe body aches and headache is asked to remain home until at least 24 hours after the fever has passed when not using fever-reducing medication.
