The Student Employment Office extends a big THANK YOU to all supervisors who nominated student employees this year. They received 13 nominations that are in the process of being rated by the judging committee. All nominees will be honored and the winners will be announced at this year’s Student Employee of the Year ceremony on April 13 at 2 p.m. in the Union’s Phoenix Room B. The International Visiting Scholar Committee is soliciting nominations for Spring 2015 Visiting Scholars. The deadline is Oct. 1. The nomination materials can be found at their site. The deadline for nominations for the AAUW – Green Bay Area Branch 2014 Dreamers and Doers Award has been extended a week, to Saturday (Feb. 22). You still have time to submit a nomination for an area woman who has demonstrated achievement, sustained leadership, and shared her talents to make Brown County a better place in which to live. They are especially interested in pioneers and those who have broken barriers and inspired others. UW-Green Bay is accepting nominations to represent the University at the 19th Annual UW System Outstanding Women of Color in Education Award Ceremony in October at UW-River Falls.
