UW-Green Bay Retirees to award $500 scholarship

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Retirees Association will award its first scholarship this spring for the 2010-11 academic year. The $500 award can be applied to tuition next fall or spring.

Applicants must be continuing, full-time undergraduate students at UW-Green Bay, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a minimum of 54 credits earned and in progress.

A completed application, found at www.uwgb.edu/retiree/news.htm with the required essay, is due at 4 p.m., Friday April 2, 2010, and e-mailed to retiree@uwgb.edu. All applicants’ earned credits, credits in progress and GPA will be verified with the UW-Green Bay Registrar’s Office. The scholarship recipient will be notified by Friday, April 30.
