UW-Green Bay mourns the loss of long-time staff member Dawn Abernathy

UW-Green Bay has learned of the the passing of long-time staff member, Dawn Abernathy. She started at UW-Green Bay as a program assistant in Natural & Applied Sciences and Human Development in May of 2000. She then transferred to a position as a program assistant in Residence Life in late 2002, where she worked to coordinate housing assignments for the 2,000 campus residents. Dawn worked hard each day to create a positive student experience for each resident. She retired in January of 2020.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  In-lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin ( https://childrenswi.org )
