Kate Gaines to give international teaching presentation, Monday, Oct. 1

Kate Gaines (sister of Prof. Adam Gaines) is an accomplished teacher at all levels of K-12 music education. A graduate of the University of South Carolina (BM Music Education) and Colorado State University (MM Music Ed and Instrumental Conducting), she has in recent years taught in private schools in the U.S. and abroad (Palo Alto, CA; Vienna, Austria; Athens, Greece) and has a wealth of knowledge to share with future teachers about the avenues that lead to, and the pros and cons of, international teaching, IB schools, etc. Ms. Gaines will give a presentation to the public and open the floor to questions at the end. This event is supported in part by the UW-Green Bay collegiate chapter of the National Association for Music Education. The event is in the choir room (SA B101) from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
