In the news: On the passing of UW-Green Bay supporter Jim Temp
We told you yesterday about the passing of UW-Green Bay friend and supporter Jim Temp, who died Sunday (Nov. 25) at the age of 79. Temp was a founding member of the Founders Association who co-chaired the University’s first capital campaign, and is the namesake for our own James A. Temp Hall. He’s also a former Green Bay Packer who was active in the community beyond UW-Green Bay. The Green Bay Press-Gazette has a nice story and photos, linked below, in the Tuesday (Nov. 27) newspaper. You can also read our news bureau report. Arrangements for Temp are incomplete, and a full obituary will appear in Wednesday’s (Nov. 28) Press-Gazette.
