CATL and the Instructional Development Council invite applicants to lead workshops and presentations at the annual Instructional Development Institute on January 23, 2020. The event will be structured around Cia Verschelden’s metaphor of Bandwidth Recovery, which describes how students who face poverty, food insecurity, systemic racism and mental wellness issues, are unable to commit their entire “cognitive bandwidth” to academic and personal growth. This year’s Institute will bring us together to discuss ways that we can help students reclaim the cognitive resources they need to be successful in college. Deadline for applications is Oct. 25, 2019. View the full call here & apply: https://www.uwgb.edu/catl/events/instructional-development-institute/
