First candidate forum: Bies, Skare

Incumbent Rep. Garey Bies of Sister Bay and Town of Gibralter board member Dick Skare, candidates for state legislative office in the 1st Assemby District, will visit campus for a forum from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 28) in Room Phoenix A of the University Union. Their district extends from the neighborhoods just north and east of campus to the tip of the Door Peninsula. The forum moderator will be student government president Andrew Teale.

Interested students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend whether voters in the 1st District or not. Members of the regional legislative delegation are often highly involved in issues affecting UW-Green Bay and public higher education. We expect to have details regarding additional candidate forums later this week.
