PDC celebrates 10 years
The Professional Development Certificate (PDC) Program celebrated 10 years of programming and more than 200 graduates last evening (Sept. 8) with a gathering in the Phoenix Room on campus.
Guest speakers during the celebration, which also honored 14 new graduates, were Catherine Coles, PDC founding coordinator; Greg Maass, superintendent of the Green Bay Area Public School District, and John Crubaugh, former Institute director.
The PDC is a self-paced and individualized professional development program for educators and those who work in the education environment. The PDC is administered by the Institute for Learning Partnership, and recognized by the Department of Public Instruction for license renewal.
Participating school districts that support their candidates with tuition reimbursement and pay raises for PDC completion are De Pere, Green Bay, Kiel, Manitowoc, Pulaski, Sheboygan, Two Rivers and West De Pere.
