On campus Thursday: Discussion of ‘What do food labels really mean?’

Already broadcast to employees but repeated here for the record. The next installment of the campus Wellness Committee’s “Lunch and Learn” series takes place at 12:10 p.m. (and repeated at 4:40 p.m.) Thursday, Jan. 16, in Phoenix Room A of the University Union. The 50-minute session will feature UW-Green Bay Human Biology and nutrition grad Laura Stalland, now enrolled in the Dietetic Internship program, discussing food labeling. If you’ve ever wondered about the differences between “low fat” and ” fat free”  or “organic” vs. “natural,” or just want to be more knowledgeable in interpreting nutrition info, it’s free and open to the public.
