UW-Green Bay students find an 'org' smorgasbord
What do UW-Green Bay students do after hours? Well, there’s the obvious — games and online communities, work, fitness activities and study, of course. And student organizations. Student Life officials estimate that about half of the student body population participates in at least one student organization. The offerings are as plentiful and unique as the students involved with them.
The Spring 2012 OrgSmorg, held February 8 in the Phoenix Rooms, demonstrate that there truly is something for everyone — with “Orgs” committed to community service, diversity, science, math, music, art, sports and so much more. About 80 organizations participated in the recruitment event. Didn’t get a chance to get there? See for yourself.
