Photo gallery: 38th Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition
The opening reception for the 38th Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition in the Lawton Gallery drew a large and appreciative audience last Thursday, Nov. 18.
The annual exhibit is showcasing 63 works by 40 talented student artists from across the campus. Nicholas Frank, curator at the Institute of Visual Arts at the Peck School of the Arts at UW-Milwaukee was the juror for the show.
Fourteen students received awards totaling more than $2,000 (see list of award recipients).
This year’s edition runs through Dec. 9. (Please note: the Lawton Gallery is closed for Thanksgiving: November 25 to 27.)
