Video: Employee Appreciation 2022

A video message from Chancellor Michael Alexander:

“I’m here to welcome everybody to the upcoming Employee Appreciation Days. I’m incredibly grateful to be able to work with everybody on the faculty, staff, here at UW-Green Bay. I thought to offer a few comments. I would begin with a quote from Voltaire, ‘Appreciation is a wonderful thing, it makes what is excellent in others, belong to all of us.’ I think this is an important thing to think about. We are stronger because of the collective strength of all the people who work here at UW-Green Bay. That inspires me every day and I hope it inspires each of you. I know that you inspire our students, inspire our community, and help to make UW-Green Bay an amazing place to work.

I don’t know how to properly say thank you, other than to just say thank you to all of you for everything you’ve done to make this an amazing year despite all the complications that have occurred over the last several years. We continue to succeed as a university. We’re supporting our students in appropriate ways and we continue to help our region thrive. Thank you for all you do, for all you continue to do, and I look forward to seeing you all at the upcoming Employee Appreciation Day events. Thank you.”
