Sue Keihn honored for long career serving UW-Green Bay students
Former Dean of Students Sue Keihn was honored April 26 with the dedication of the Sue Keihn Living Learning Center, a gathering space in Keith A. Pamperin Hall at UW-Green Bay. Keihn had a 34-year career in student affairs including 14 at UW-Green Bay. Friends and former colleagues mentioned her positive, uplifting spirit, her ability to multi-task and stay ahead of trends, and mostly, her passion for putting students first.
A gathering of nearly 100 campus and community guests heard from Dan Spielmann, special assistant to the chancellor, who was the master of ceremonies, followed by Chancellor Tom Harden, RHAA President Jonathon Eckelberg; alumni Jonathon Virant ‘05 and Keith Pamperin ‘70 and Dean of Students Brenda Amenson-Hill, who worked closely with Keihn most of her career. Keihn was joined by her husband Dennis, her parents and other family members. A number of UW-Green Bay retirees joined the celebration, as well.
