MEDIA ADVISORY: Groundbreaking ceremony for UW-Green Bay’s newest residence hall set for Monday, May 15 at 11 a.m.

Green Bay, WI – Set to open on the UW-Green Bay campus in fall of 2024, leaders from UW-Green Bay, University Village Housing, Inc., (UVHI) Immel Construction and Berners Schober will gather for a groundbreaking ceremony for the new residence hall on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 11 a.m. The new building embraces a “learn where you live” concept and is the first new residence hall to be built on campus in 12 years.

The ceremony is set to begin at 11:00 a.m. at the construction site near the Campus Community Center, with a light reception to follow at 11:45 a.m.
