Packers grant helps Phuture Phoenix begin connecting with parents
The Phuture Phoenix program at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay is one of 62 organizations to receive financial support from the Green Bay Packers Foundation. Phuture Phoenix was awarded a $4,000 grant, which is intended for the development of a spring event for parents of Phuture Phoenix students.

Changing the law: Student helps close oily landfill loophole
A new state law banning used oil filters and absorbent materials from landfill disposal could prevent nearly a million gallons of used oil getting into Wisconsin landfills. It’s an example of practical environmental legislation that received a boost from UW-Green Bay Associate Prof. John Katers and graduate student Adam Snippen.

UW-Green Bay students win 23 ‘ADDY’ Awards
UW-Green Bay students have captured 23 Northeast Wisconsin Student ADDY Awards from the American Advertising Federation (AAF) Fox River Ad Club. An award presentation will be held at 8 p.m. on March 18, at the Meyer Theatre, 117 S. Washington St., Green Bay.
Non-credit aviation course offered through UW-Green Bay
The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay is partnering with Space Education Initiatives and Tailwind Flight Center to offer the course “Aviation and Aerodynamics for Private and Sport Pilots.”
