Consider attending a fora on accreditation

2017 is a big year for UW-Green Bay, as it marks the institution’s 10-year Comprehensive Accreditation Review. This means that the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), one of several organizations in the United States recognized by the Department of Education, will review the University based on several academic and practical criteria addressing its mission, educational quality, and integrity, as well as compliance with federal regulations and academic progress as expressed in such efforts as the Quality Initiative. The HLC Peer Review Team will be on campus October 9 to 10 to meet with personnel and review the University’s practices. You are encouraged to participate. An accreditation website has been created and additional content about the Peer Review Team’s visit and how to prepare for it will be added soon. There are a number of documents already posted to the website, including the University’s Assurance Argument and Quality Initiative Project. As part of the University’s preparation for the visit, three fora on accreditation have been scheduled. Please mark your calendars and feel free to stop by to ask questions or talk about how you can contribute to our review.
