Students plan ‘Grocery Store Tour’ series in Green Bay, Neenah, Sheboygan
Students from the Dietetic Internship program will be hosting what they call a “Healthy Grocery Shopping Tour” on three different occasions in the coming weeks. They promise to show us “the healthiest foods in the store and give you tips you can use anywhere!”
Free and open to the general public, the first takes place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, at Woodman’s, 2400 Dousman St., Green Bay. (RSVPs are required; call 498-4205 to register). The second is 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30 at the Festival Foods Sheboygan, 595 S. Taylor Drive (920-459-4636 to register). The third is set for 1:30 to 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, at Festival Foods in Neenah, 647 S. Green Bay Road (800-362-9900 to register).

About the Dietetic Internship program — Students admitted to UW-Green Bay’s Dietetics Internship program are, generally speaking, baccalaureate-prepared candidates who complete a 37-week program with supervised practice experiences in a variety of area facilities and across all areas of dietetic practice. Students who successfully complete the program are eligible to take the registered-dietician exam.
