UW-Green Bay joins in on World Food Day with a food drive, Oct. 11-15

On Oct. 16, 2021, more than 150 countries come together to raise awareness for World Food Day to highlight issues surrounding poverty and hunger. Food insecurity has the potential to harm college students’ ability to achieve their educational and professional goals. In conjunction with World Food Day, UW-Green Bay will hold a food drive during the week of Oct. 11 to Oct. 15, 2021, collecting items for the Campus Cupboard and Closet. Donations will support students on all four campuses. Sign up your department today to participate!

To “sweeten the deal,” Vice Chancellor Corey King has agreed to award the winning department or program his “famous” sweet potato pie. Watch your e-mail for details.
