Stangel fires up ‘After Thoughts’ crowd with talk on the Green Bay Way

The phenomenal success of the UW-Green Bay Phoenix women’s basketball team, and all it means for campus and community, took center stage Nov. 13 during the University’s After Thoughts program. Jeanne Stangel, UW-Green Bay Director of Development and former Associate Director of UW-Green Bay Athletics, presented “The Green Bay Way: The Impact of National Recognition in Collegiate Sports at UW-Green Bay.”

Colorful celebration: UW-Green Bay gets its pink on for national Pink Week

The UW-Green Bay campus is getting pretty in pink this week, part of a national celebration dedicated to the harmonious hue. Pink Week is a weeklong national “holiday” first celebrated in 1993. Its purpose, organizers say, is simple — to celebrate the color pink. It has no political, religious or social agenda. The idea? Just think pink.
