Regents approve UW-Green Bay engineering school

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s request to significantly expand its engineering program was approved Friday morning by the UW Board of Regents, reported the Green Bay Press-Gazette. Local business and community leaders applauded the regents’ vote Friday morning to allow the university to add a mechanical engineering degree program to its existing degrees in environmental, electrical and mechanical engineering technology.
