UW-Green Bay students awarded Chancellor’s Medallions

Six University of Wisconsin-Green Bay students will be awarded Chancellor’s Medallions at a ceremony on the campus on Friday, Dec. 18.

The medallions acknowledge academic excellence and leadership demonstrated throughout the students’ careers at UW-Green Bay. The students are eligible to graduate on Dec. 19. Commencement ceremonies begin at 11:30 a.m. in the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts.

Recipients of the fall 2009 Chancellor’s Medallions, listed in alphabetical order of their hometowns, are:

Colgate – Mollie Kaebisch, Psychology and Human Development (cum laude)
Dorchester – Jaurdon Nelson, Psychology and Human Development (magna cum laude)
Green Bay – Nicholas Cibula, Public Administration and Political Science (cum laude, distinction in the major)
Green Bay – Crystalmichelle Malakar, Nursing
Manitowoc – Allen Voelker, Biology (summa cum laude)
Sobieski – Jennifer Cortright, English (summa cum laude)
