UW-Green Bay Supports Working Professionals with New Career Coaching Services

Green Bay, WI — UW-Green Bay is now offering career coaching with the goal of helping individuals discover their strengths and explore their career interests in an evolving marketplace. Career Coaching Services will also help adults navigate career-life changes to ensure a rewarding future.

The university continues to expand the idea of higher education and career development with undergraduate and graduate certificates, boot camps and new degree offerings that meet the needs of employers. These options ensure every adult a variety of pathways to a degree or professional credential. Regardless of status, career coaching will help adults map their best pathway to a successful career.

In collaboration with career coach Kristin Odell, UW-Green Bay is offering a menu of career coaching services:

  • 1:1 Career Coaching – 60-minute one-on-one career-life consultant.
  • Career Coaching & Assessment – 60-minute consultation with a review of Top 5 Strengths assessment.
  • Coaching & In-Depth Assessment – two (2) 60-minute consultations and an in-depth review of 34 CliftonStrengths results.
  • Resume Review & Support – 60-minute resume review and interviewing support.
  • Goal Setting – 60-minute consultation to develop personal and professional goals.
  • 1:1 Career Coaching Sessions – Three (3) 60-minute one-on-one career-life consultations.

Kristin Odell is a long-time collaborator and instructor with UW-Green Bay. “I am excited to work with UW-Green Bay to help support and advance individuals in our community exploring the next step in their careers,” says Kristin. “The current labor market calls for a different mindset, and professionals are juggling more responsibility than ever. They are looking for a career catapult and can’t afford any missteps. I can be their compass.”

Kristin has 20+ years of experience working in human resource leadership roles focused on employee and leadership development, strengths coaching, hiring and engagement, and legal compliance. Kristin’s knowledge ranges across both publicly traded Fortune 500 organizations as well as non-profits and small-cap family-owned businesses.

She is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR), a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, and a Gallup Engagement Champion. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh with a focus in Human Resources and Legal Studies. Kristin has facilitated continuing education classes with UW-Green Bay for several years and has covered topics including HR for Supervisors and Leaders, Strengths, and Building Strong Networks.
