UW-Green Bay Chorale, Concert Choir to perform Oct. 19
UW-Green Bay Music will present its third event of the 2013-14 academic year Saturday, Oct. 19, when the University’s Concert Choir and Chorale take the main stage at the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts.
Under the direction of UW-Green Bay Associate Prof. Randall Meder, the two choirs will perform music by Johannes Brahms, Aaron Copland, Morten Lauridsen, Felix Mendelssohn, Franz Schubert, Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck and others. The Algoma High School Choir also will be featured in the concert.
The Concert Choir and Chorale concert begins at 7:30 p.m. on the Cofrin Family (Main) Stage at the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts on the UW-Green Bay campus, 2420 Nicolet Drive.
