New Student Skills Learning Lab under renovation

UW-Green Bay Social Work and Education faculty are showing their excitement over a new student skills learning lab that will support development of communication, counseling and presentation skills, as well as professional behaviors among students in Social Work, Education, and Health majors in Mary Ann Cofrin Hall 131/133. The photos show the faculty lending a hand to the renovation in a lighthearted way. The new space and audio/video recording technology will provide capabilities for recording of simulation exercises, role-play and presentations to help students analyze their skill development. An observation galley is part of the renovation plan to allow viewing of individual and group rooms. A smart board will be available for Education students for practicing delivery of classroom lessons. Faculty are eager to begin using the lab for courses in late January.
