More art on campus: Doors based on Chang’s work
A new art project went up this weeks, courtesy of the Arts Management Seminar class. There are seven doors around campus painted with chalkboard paint and participation prompts, a la this semester’s visiting artist Candy Chang. Some of the prompts include, “The lyrics going through my head today…” “What I know for sure” and “If you were a superhero, what would your power be?” There is one across from the bookstore in the Union, one in the Garden Café alcove, in the Theatre Hall alcove, at the entrance to Rose Hall, in MAC Hall, among other locations. On Friday, they will be moved to Phoenix A in the Union where they will hang out with students for the day as the grand finale to the project.
