CATL is accepting applications for Online Teaching Fellows program

The Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL) is accepting applications for the UW-Green Bay Online Teaching Fellows program. This program is for those who wish to deepen their engagement with online instruction. Instructors in this course will explore best practices, align assignments with objectives and assessments. In addition, we will explore multiple ways to engage students in the digital classroom. There is only one track — no more starters and advanced — anyone who teaches may apply for this course.

Expectations for the Online Teaching Fellows:

• Participants will attend four two-hour face-to-face sessions over the course of two weeks. (January 8th, 10th, 15th, and 17th. All sessions will run from 9am until 11am).
• Fellows will complete online course work in-between the face-to-face sessions
• Participants will create an online course plan, complete with objectives, activities, and assessments.
• Most importantly, fellows will explore best practices for online teaching and apply them to their course.

Since this workshop is a professional development opportunity, participants in the Online Teaching Fellows will not receive a stipend.
