Phoenix programs shine on NCAA’s graduation-success measure
Eight University of Wisconsin-Green Bay athletic programs posted perfect graduation success rates, while a total of 13 programs finished above the national average among non-football Division I NCAA schools, as announced by the NCAA office on Wednesday afternoon. On the women’s side, basketball, cross country, swimming and diving, tennis and volleyball all posted perfect scores, as did men’s cross country, Nordic skiing and tennis. Additionally, finishing above their respective GSR national averages were women’s softball and men’s basketball, golf, soccer and swimming. “Ensuring academic success and graduation for student-athletes are our top priorities at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay,” said Athletics Director Mary Ellen Gillespie. “This data reinforces that commitment and is a testament to our coaches who recruit quality student-athletes and our faculty and staff who work as a team to help students be successful.” For more.
