Near the beginning of the Tuesday evening (June 17) City Council meeting, Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmitt will be presenting men’s basketball player Keifer Sykes with a Leadership Award for his success on the court and the way he handles himself off the court as a role model for youth in our community. The meeting is open to the public and will begin at 7 p.m. at City Hall at 100 N. Jefferson St., in the second floor Council Chambers. Sykes, coach Brian Wardle and Athletics Director Mary Ellen Gillespie will attend.
