Contentious school voucher debate is topic for Center for Public Affairs discussion
Our own Center for Public Affairs will offer some context for the hot-button school voucher debate during a forum set for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12 in Room 250 of Rose Hall. A reception with refreshments will precede the event, titled “Life with Vouchers: a Community Conversation,” beginning at 6:30. Featuring keynote speaker Deven Carlson of the University of Oklahoma, along with a panel of local experts (including faculty members Lora Warner and David Helpap), “Life with Vouchers” is designed to encourage information sharing and dialogue around the issue. The event is free and open to the public, with free parking available in the Wood Hall lot. More details.
