UW-Green Bay adds ‘Tropicolor’ to its fall splendor, hosts Color Run
It was a gorgeous Sunday (Oct. 2, 2016) for hosting the Color Run. More than 3,700 participants ran, walked and laughed their way through the best-attended Color Run in Wisconsin so far this year. Besides the usual financial benefit to UWGB student organizations, 20 cases of water were donated to the Campus Cupboard and 195 concrete blocks were given to Habitat Restore. There were 200-plus student volunteers, as well as UW-Green Bay percussionists entertaining the crowd and the Green Bay spirit squads cheering the runners/walkers on a beautiful UW-Green Bay fall morning. Public Safety did its typically fabulous job with parking and security.
