Early convocation

The Archives and Area Research Center has posted a few photos of historic significance (circa 1969) and some narrative describing UW-Green Bay’s very first all-employee convocation hosted by Chancellor Edward Weidner.  We doubt the old postcard of the original Beaumont Hotel was photographed on the actual day of that first get-together (it was the 1960s, not the 1860s, and we really did have horseless carriages by then), but it’s still a fun post.
