Shorewood Golf Course begins transition, refunds gift balances

alumni scholarship golf outing

As Shorewood Golf Course begins the transition to a student recreation and engagement center, the University will be working to inventory and surplus outstanding golf course-related items and wrapping up any outstanding golf course business.

If you have any unused Shorewood Golf Cards you can use the following link to request a refund if requested by December 31, 2021. Shorewood gift card balances of $25 or more will be issued a refund check. Amounts under $25 will be issued a University Gift Card good at the Kress Event Center, Phoenix Bookstore, Weidner Center of Performing Arts, and other on-campus locations. The University will begin processing refunds after September 1st, 2021. Please use this link to request a refund for the unused portion of your gift card.

Because the University no longer operates a golf course, it is unable to honor outstanding Groupons, golf coupons, complimentary tickets, or other golf-related discounted items for Shorewood Golf Course.

In compliance with Wisconsin DOA processes the University is currently conducting a through inventory of all equipment and inventory related to golf course operations. This includes golf carts, greens mowers, and other operational items. Once completed, the University will begin to reassign assets or list them on a public auction website.
