Reminder: Convocation Open is Aug. 24

Organizers are still looking for a couple of last-minute additions to the sixth annual Convocation Open at Shorewood Gold Course. The format for this social outing is a three-or-four person scramble that allows golfers of all abilities to participate and meet others in an informal setting. The event is open to faculty, staff and retirees, with the teams being selected by the planning committee, chaired by Steve Meyer along with Joe Schoenebeck and John Katers. Only $10 for the event or $15 if taking a cart. Please contact Joe Schoenebeck by Friday, Aug. 18 to reserve your spot in the outing. Non-golfers are encouraged to stop after work for refreshments and conversation.
