An informal celebration of life for Rolfe E. White will be held on Sunday, August 8, from Noon to 3 p.m. at Baird Park, Triangle Sports Area, TSA Chalet. There will be light refreshments and sharing of memories. All are welcome. The former UW-Green Bay Associate Professor of Social Work, who retired from UW-Green Bay in 1999, passed away on June 9, 2021. He was a champion for serving homeless, low-income and uninsured individuals, and he was part of the creation of NEW Community Clinic. A peer and long-time friend called him a “gentle soul… Kind, thoughtful and beloved by students and colleagues alike. He always went the extra mile.” UW-Green Bay news had more on White at his passing.
