The July 4th week is a quiet one for camps at UW-Green Bay. Next week more than 130 campers will be welcomed to campus for UW-Green Bay Middle School Band, Orchestra, Choral and Piano Camps. Campers participate in rehearsals, master classes, sectionals and “camper’s choice” classes. A free, public concert begins at 6:00 p.m. July 14 in the Weidner Center. About 20 participants will be on campus next week for Video Game Programming Camp, Level 1. Campers learn about the world of object-oriented programming, receive an introduction to developing software in a gaming environment, learn basic techniques to creating games and will be introduced to object-oriented programming. The end of the week brings volleyball players for the Adidas Phoenix Volleyball Camp, facilitated by the Green Bay women’s volleyball coach, Sean Burdette, and his staff.
