More from the marathon
We knew it would happen but we’re sorry it did — we neglected to list some of the marathon and half marathon finishers with campus ties in the previous edition. Big congrats to Human Biology Associate Lecturer Joanne Gardner, who not only ran but also won her age group for the women’s half marathon Sunday. Stephanie Fortune Murphy, an Adult Degree Program adviser, ran the half as well.
We also want to offer a shout out to student Nate Nitka, part of a two-person team that took on the marathon relay event, and to a newly minted grad Samantha Fenlon of Reedsville. She graduated from UW-Green Bay Saturday and ran her first half marathon Sunday.
