URSCA? ‘Couldn’t have gone much better’
According to organizers, the UW Undergraduate Research Symposium (URSCA), Thursday and Friday, April 19-20, 2018, couldn’t have gone much better. UW-Green Bay was busting at the seams with an additional 400 undergraduate researchers, faculty from other UW campuses and UW System officials. Unexpected (but welcome) were a number of parents and family members who sat in on presentations and enjoyed the poster session.
Organizers send appreciation to staff of the University Union and the Kress Events Center, and those who served as moderators for the presentations, many of whom were “blown away by the presentations.” The tour of Lambeau, UntitledTown collaboration and an app were big hits, as was having the art in the same room as the poster session.
UW-Green Bay looks to hosting a bigger and better event in 2019, before the event moves to another campus in 2020. Good job, UW-Green Bay!
