New video: Nature-based 4K puts learning outdoors
Just in time for Earth Day, we’ve got a new video that’s all about fun and learning in nature. It takes viewers inside the nature-based 4-year-old kindergarten program at Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, a collaborative effort involving the Green Bay School District, the sanctuary and UW-Green Bay. The young learners spend 60 to 80 percent of their time outdoors, using the natural surroundings to explore shapes, colors, wildlife and more. They’re active, too, taking advantage of a great outdoor classroom space and plenty of areas in which to learn. Check out our video to see what the program is all about and hear from those involved (and make sure you stick around for the outtakes).
