Reminder: Statewide tornado drill is Thursday

Public safety requests your participation in a statewide tornado drill, tomorrow (Thursday, April 14). Please check your inbox for directions or see them posted here. At 1 p.m. a mock tornado watch will be issued, meaning conditions are favorable. At 1:45, a mock tornado warning (meaning a tornado has been spotted in the area) will be issued. At this point, you are asked to find and seek shelter. Drills are a simple and critical exercise for knowing what to do when a real weather emergency occurs.
