If you are looking for an enjoyable outside activity when summer weather finally arrives, the Shorewood Golf League (UW-Green Bay) is placing a call for new members. This fun league is looking for either single golfers that can be paired or two-person teams to fill out its roster. The University Golf League is primarily made up of UW-Green Bay employees, alumni and retirees (spouses are also welcome). The Golf League plays every Tuesday, teeing off between 3:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., for nine holes of golf with another two-person team. The season will start either Tuesday, May 7 or Tuesday, May 14, 2019 and will end in mid-August. Dues are $45 per golfer, which includes an end-of-season banquet. If you’re interested in playing, or even joining the list of substitute players, please email Fred Kennerhed firstname.lastname@example.org at your earliest convenience.
