Possible first-round sites for Phoenix women

There’s roughly a one in four chance the UW-Green Bay women’s basketball team will play relatively close to home. Among the 16 sites for NCAA Tournament opening-round games next weekend are Purdue University, the University of Notre Dame and the former Rosemont Horizon just north of O’Hare. Also within semi-reasonable driving distances are Bowling Green, Ohio, and Ames, Iowa. Pairings will be announced from 6 to 7 p.m. CDT Monday (March 12) on ESPN.
