More on a dream come true for UW-Green Bay’s Mehryn Kraker. The former Phoenix star was drafted in the third round of the WNBA Draft by the Washington Mystics with the 27th overall pick. The six-foot Kraker was the Horizon League’s Player of the Year this past season and helped lead the Phoenix to a 19th straight regular-season conference championship and also to the NCAA tournament. She is just the second Phoenix player to be drafted by a WNBA team. See the interview on NBC26.
