UW-Green Bay music faculty duo Rector-Hong wins Ellis Duo Piano Competition

UW-Green Bay piano faculty members Michael Rector and Sylvia Hong have won first prize in the Ellis Duo Piano Competition, a biennial event organized by the National Federation of Music Clubs. The award includes a $20,000 cash prize as well as two years of management and concert bookings throughout the United States. Due to the pandemic, the competition was held fully online this year.
