Casablanca performers spend time with media this week previewing Saturday’s show

UW-Green Bay faculty were making the rounds to promote Saturday’s performance by the Weidner Center’s Philharmonic of Casablanca—considered by critics to be one of the greatest movies of all time. It’s Feb. 22 at 7:30 p.m. with a pre-show talk at 6:30 pm. On Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020, Bill Sallak (percussion) and Kelli Strickland (executive director of the Weidner Center) were featured on the WBAY Noon Show. On Friday, Sallak and Luis Fernandez (violin) spent some time with WFRV. Fernandez played “As Time Goes By.” For details, including tickets, head to the weidnercenter.com.
