500 athletes come to campus next week for giant gymnastics meet

UWGB’s Kress Events Center certainly has been busy. We mentioned yesterday in Log Extra a first ever “extramural” basketball tournament with college students from across the state will be held this Saturday at the Kress. Next weekend marks the fourth consecutive year that the Kress staff is hosting the Lambeau Leap Gymnastics Meet. This year it is held Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 27– 28. The event, sponsored by High5 Meets, brings more than 500 athletes attending from 20 different clubs from around the Midwest to campus. States represented in this year’s meet include Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan and Iowa. Admission can be purchased at the door: Adults — $10 per day, $15 two day pass. Students & Seniors — $8 per day, $13 two day pass. Child (5-12) $5 per day, $8 two day pass. Children under 5 free. http://www.high5meets.com/lambeau-leap/
