Green Bay women celebrate win and big afternoon for cancer funding

Notching its 10th-straight win in front of nearly 3,000 fans at the Kress Center on Saturday afternoon, the Green Bay women’s basketball team defeated Wright State, 75-68, in the annual Pink Zone game hosted by Prevea Health. The Phoenix (21-2, 11-1) helped raise more than $10,000 during the game, with all donations benefiting the Ribbon of Hope. See more. The Phoenix also recognized 30 alumni who returned to be honored during a timeout. Green Bay now hits the road for four-straight games, with its next action coming on Saturday, Feb. 10 at Milwaukee.
