Alumni Weekend at the Kalahari attracts nice turnout

UW-Green Bay was one of the UW System schools to participate in the recent family weekend (Jan. 9-11) at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells, organized as a partnership by the various alumni associations at each of the campuses. Not the biggest university with the largest alumni base, UWGB nevertheless outpaced several of the larger campuses in terms of participation, with a couple dozen alumni taking part (and more than 100 spouses and children, total). It was the first year that the UW System schools (most of them, anyway) worked together to block a large number of rooms and common areas for a joint alumni outing/reunion. Kari Moody ’00, director of alumni relations for UW-Green Bay, says participating alumni had a great time… and a mid-winter repeat is likely in early 2016.
