Green Bay seniors Jen Wellnitz, Laken James and Carly Mohns all turned in career-high marks to lead the Phoenix (7-6, 2-1) to a road victory over Northern Kentucky (3-11, 2-2) on Saturday. Wellnitz poured in 21 points on an 8-of-13 effort from the field while going 4-for-5 from the charity stripe. James surpassed her career high for the second-straight game, scoring 18 points in 35 minutes to best her 15-point performance against Wright State on Thursday. Mohns reached double digits for the first time in her GB career, with 13 points. Green Bay returns home for its first Horizon League contests of the season, welcoming Cleveland State (Jan. 10, 2019) on Thursday night and Youngstown State on Saturday (Jan. 12).
