Pelicans, and UW-Green Bay’s Erdman, get some press
Don’t know how we missed this one until now. White pelicans are just about North America’s largest bird, with a wingspan something like seven feet across, and Tom Erdman is no insignificant presence himself. The curator of the Richter Natural History Museum and highly regarded wildlife researcher was quoted in a front-page Press-Gazette article earlier this week titled “White pelicans thrive in Green Bay area.”
